GMP Manufacture of Specials for Wholesale and Hospitals
NuPharm Laboratories Ltd is licensed by the MHRA for the manufacture of Unlicensed Medicines or ‘Specials’:- MS19559. We manufacture and sell in bulk to wholesalers and hospitals, offering a cost-effective alternative to traditional specials.
NuPharm has developed a range of products based on the most commonly prescribed (non-sterile) specials. We developed these products in-house in the same manner we would approach the development of a licensed generic pharmaceutical. As a result all our products are supported by a comprehensive data pack. Products and processes are robust, analytical methods are fully validated to ICH standards, shelf-life is supported by stability studies with product stressed at ICH conditions.

NuPharm’s quality system ensures that all raw materials and components are tested and released by our extensive quality laboratories. Processes are closely monitored throughout with in-process testing to ensure key process steps are under control. Full in-house Finished Product Testing means that a Certificate of Analysis accompanies all orders despatched.
We are constantly adding to our portfolio through our extensive development pipeline. In addition we contract manufacture other products for other Specials companies.
Many of our Specials products are available with QP release for sale outside the EU.
